Event Report
Thank you to all the competitors from Saturday's Family Adventure
Race in the challenging terrain of Wendover Woods. We had a
fantastic turn out with 27 teams taking part, 19 teams in the 11
years old and under catergory and 8 teams in the over 12 category.
The weather was very kind to us. It was looking a little suspect
to start with, but then it started to improve and finished as a
fabulous day.
All teams competed at the level they wanted to, some teams
competing really hard for top honours whilst some just enjoyed the
day out.
I understand that the time it took to get a drink and cake at the
cafe used up part of some teams 2.5 hours !!
The only complaints I heard on the day were about the steep hills
and the tough terrain.
The scoring was outstanding with some very high scores. What was
interesting was that the 11 years old and under category had
higher scores than the over 12 category !

Runners Up - The Blinking Buzzards - 590 points
Category 2 - 12 years old and over
Winning Team - The Nevos - 550 points
Runners Up - The Borrowers - 450 points

We are constantly trying to improve our events and would
appreciate your feedback on what worked well, what didn't work and
what you would like to see us do differently next time. We are
also interested to know where you heard about the event.
